CELTIC, Northeast Gaul. Treveri. Mid 1st century BC. Quinarius (Silver, 14 mm, 1.45 g, 12 h), 'Marberg' type. Male figure seated to right, with tree to right, serpent below and circlets around. Rev. Horse standing left, surrounded by pellets and annulets. DT 202 var., Flesche 250 var., LT 9383 var. and SLM 1108-1112 (all with the male figure seated to left). A very rare variety. Edge chipped , otherwise, very fine.
