Anonymous. Quadrans (Bronze, 33 mm, 33.94 g, 12 h), Sicily, circa 216 BC. Head of Hercules to left, wearing lion skin headdress; below, three pellets. Rev. Prow to left; above, grain-ear; below, three pellets. Crawford 40/1a. RBW 110. Sydenham -. Thurlow & Vecchi 66. Extremely rare. An attractive example with a pleasant green patina. Good very fine.
