PHOENICIA. Ace-Ptolemais. Mark Antony , 42-31 BC. Diassarion (Bronze, 24 mm, 10.46 g, 1 h), CY 11 = 39/8. Bare head of Mark Antony to right within laurel wreath. Rev. L IA / KAI AΣY - ΠTOΛ[Є]/MAЄΩ[N] / IЄPA[Σ] Tyche standing left on prow, holding applustre and rudder with her right hand and cornucopiae and palm with her left. DCA 747. RPC I 4740. Rare. An unusually attractive example of this difficult issue with a splendid portrait. Very fine.
