CALABRIA. Tarentum. Circa 344-340 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 21 mm, 7.57 g, 2 h). Nude, helmeted rider on horseback left, holding spear and shield; below horse, Δ. Rev. TAPAΣ / K Youthful oikist, nude, riding dolphin to left, holding trident over his right shoulder and resting his left on the dolphin; below, waves. HN Italy 877. Vlasto 444. Minor flan crack , otherwise, very fine.
