Heraclius, with Heraclius Constantine, 610-641. Solidus (Gold, 21 mm, 4.51 g, 7 h), Constantinopolis, circa 616-625. dd NN hERACLIVS ET hERA CONST PP AY Crowned, with cross on circlet, draped and cuirassed facing busts of Heraclius, on the left larger and bearded, and Heraclius Constantine, on the right smaller and beardless; between them above, cross. Rev. VICTORIA AVGY IΘ / CONOB Cross potent on base and three steps. DOC 17e. MIB 19. SB 742. A lustrous example. Light die wear , otherwise, extremely fine.
