★ A beautifully toned denarius of Galba ★

Galba, 68-69. Denarius (Silver, 17 mm, 3.52 g, 7 h), uncertain western mint (Tarraco?), 68. SER GALBA IMPERATOR Laureate head of Galba to right, globe at point of bust. Rev. CONCO[RDIA PROVI]NCIARVM Concordia standing left, holding a branch in her right hand and a cornucopiae with her left. BMC 217. Cohen 34. RIC 49. A nicely toned example with an impressive portrait. The reverse struck slightly off center and with a minor striking flatness , otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
