CILICIA. Tarsus. Hadrian , 117-138. Tridrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 10.19 g, 12 h). ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΘΕ ΤΡ ΠΑΡ ΥΙ ΘΕ ΝΕΡ ΥΙ ΤΡΑ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ ϹE Laureate head of Hadrian to right. Rev. ΤΑΡ/ϹΕΩΝ - ΜΗΤΡΟΠΟΛΕWϹ City-goddess, turreted and veiled, seated left, holding palm in her right hand and cornucopiae with her left; to left at feet, river-god Kydnos, crowned with wreath of sedge, swimming left; all within laurel wreath. Prieur 759. RPC III 3259. Light graffito on the obverse , otherwise, good very fine.
