Anonymous, circa 215-212 BC. As (Bronze, 40 mm, 83.94 g, 12 h), post-semilibral cast series, Rome. Laureate head of bearded Janus. Rev. Prow to left; above, mark of value I. Crawford 41/5a. Haeberlin pl. 49, 2. RBW 114. Sydenham 101. Thurlow-Vecchi 70. An excellent example with a very attractive dark patina. Good very fine.

From an Austrian collection, formed prior to the 1990s.
