Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. AΛEΞANΔPOY Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing right with closed wings in his right; to left, wreath. Price 645. Waggoner, Further reflections on Audoleon and his Alexander mint, RBN 129 (1983), 20 ( same obverse die ). A nicely toned well centered example with an unusually high relief. Slightly double struck on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
