KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. 1/8 Stater (Gold, 9 mm, 1.07 g, 2 h), Pella, struck under Philip II or Alexander III, circa 340-328. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠOY Trident. Le Rider 113 (D56/R48). SNG ANS -. Very rare. Minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.

From a Viennese collection, formed in the 1990s.
