Stater, gold, posthumous, Byzantion , about 170-150 BC. AV 8.39 g. Diademed head r. of deified Alexander the Great with ram's horn. Rev. BASILEWS - LUSIMACOU Athena, wearing long chiton, himation and helmet, seated l., shield at side, holding on her outstretched r. arm Nike crow­ning the royal name; in field l., monogram, on throne BU, in exergue, trident to l. De Callataÿ cf. pl. XXXVIII, G (different monogram). Good style. Oval flan.
