MACEDONIAN KINGDOM. Alexander III the Great (336-323 BC). AR tetradrachm (27mm, 16.50 gm, 3h). AU. Lifetime or early posthumous issue of Tyre, by Laomedon, struck under Menes, dated Regnal Year 30 317/6 BC (Ake) or 320/1 BC (Tyre) of Azemilkos. Head of Heracles right, wearing lion skin headdress, paws tied before neck / AΛEΞANΔPOY, Zeus seated left on backless throne, right leg drawn back, feet on stool, eagle in right hand, scepter in left; ЧO (Phoenician for Azemilkos) above -// (date) in left field.
