Victoria gold Sovereign 1863 MS64 NGC, KM736.2, S-3852D. Without die number. The obverse of this fabulous piece has a light ring of die cracks running around the periphery; this would seem to be the one production flaw it exhibits for in all other respects it is thoroughly impressive and visually alluring. Highly lustrous, with a fantastic strike and scant evidence of contact.
