French Indochina Banque de l'Indo-Chine, Saigon 100 Piastres 19.3.1907 Pick 33 PCGS Very Fine 20. A splendid and rare type that is desirable in any grade. The early 20th century series of French Indo-China banknotes have many subtle varieties that can be challenging to differentiate, with this specific note being unique in that it has the denomination in "Piastres" indicated twice on the front. Two different designs subsequently followed this type, leaving extant examples of this design to be very scarce today. There are rust stains, paper damage, and repairs mention on the back of the third party holder, but luckily all details are still clearly visible. A handsome and rare type.
