As rare as it is interesting, this Printer's Essay is a beautiful representation of the eventual banknote, which bears dates from the 1870s through the 1890s. Very few issued examples are known to exist, which adds desirability to this example, which was created on blueish, watermarked paper. All design elements are clearly visible. The issued examples, based on this design, have manuscript signatures and a variety of dates, both which are lacking here. Of the utmost rarity, and eminently desirable as such.
