The 50 Dollar note is a Color Trial Specimen, with brown replacing blue (which was used for production) as one of the primary colors on both the face and back. PMG notes that the 50 Dollar example was previously mounted. Both notes are stamped SPECIMEN in red on the face and back, with the lower denomination note having one POC and the larger denomination note two POCs.
