Head of Heracles right, wearing lion skin headdress, paws tied before neck / ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, Zeus seated left on backless throne, right leg drawn back, feet on stool, eagle in right hand, scepter in left; rose in left field, ΔI-O below strut and in inner right field. Price 3971. Tetradrachms of Alexander from the mint of Memphis, Egypt are widely regarded as stylistically the most beautiful in the series.
