ATTICA. Athens. Ca. 165-42 BC. AR tetradrachm (29mm, 12h). NGC VF. New Style coinage, ca. 110/9 BC. Zoilos, Euandros and Asclepios, magistrates. Head of Athena right wearing triple-crested Attic helmet, ornamented with leaping Pegasus above upturned cheek flap, vine scroll on bowl, protomes of four horses on visor / A-ΘE / ZΔI-ΛOΣ / EVAN/ΔPOΣ / AΣKΛ/HΠ, owl standing right on horizontal amphora inscribed with ZE monogram; bee in right field, ΣO below, all within wreath.
