Japan Bank of Japan 20 Yen ND (1917) Pick 37 JNDA 11-34 PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ. A highly attractive example holding the highest grade in the PMG population report. This 20 Yen Convertible Gold Note Issue has a portrait of the 9th century poet Sugawara no Michizane featured on the front. A breathtaking vignette of Kitano Shrine in Kyoto is centered on the back inside a beautifully framed pattern.
