Japan Bank of Japan 200 Yen ND (1945) Pick 43As1 JNDA 11-43 Specimen PMG About Uncirculated 53 Net. A very scarce type in any grade, in any format. This denomination was printed back in 1927, at the height of Japanese financial crisis. However, the stock of 7.5 million printed notes were not issued. This Specimen was overprinted in 1945, and is included as part of the series that was issued simultaneously with the Japanese surrender after World War II. Rust and paper damage are noted by PMG, but they do not detract much from the overall appearance of this rare type. Seldom offered. From the Yuri Solovey Collection of Japan and Territories
