INDIA. Kushano-Sasanian. Imitating Vasudeva I (ca. AD 190-230). AV dinar. ANACS MS 62. Posthumous issue, ca. AD 255-310. DAONOPO BO-HOOΔO VODANO, Vasudeva standing facing, nimbate head left wearing conical helmet, flames on right shoulder, trident in left hand, sacrificing over altar with right hand; filleted trident to left, triple pellets under left arm, Δ in left field, ω/O in right field / OHDO, Oesho (Siva) standing facing, leaning right, head surrounded by partial halo, two arms, erect lingammmm, hair with crescent topknot and curls outlining face, diadem in right hand, trident in left; before the bull Nandi standing left; tamgha to left. cf. ANS Kushan 1700 (additional pellets on obverse in right field).
