Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet ornamented with three laurel leaves and vine scroll / AΘE, owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent moon behind, all within incuse square. HGC 4, 1597. SNG Copenhagen 31-40. Kroll 8. Although assigned to the mid-mass issue on the holder, the interesting squat and pudgy owl on the reverse stylistically looks like the transitional issue of 455-440 BC.
