SICULO-PUNIC. Sicily. Ca. 300-289 BC. AR tetradrachm (22mm, 17.33 gm, 10h). NGC AU 4/5 - 3/5. Quaestors issue. Head of young Heracles right, wearing lion skin headdress, paws tied before neck / Head and neck of horse left; palm tree behind, 'MHSBM (Punic) below. HGC 2, 295. Dewing 983. Jenkins IV, Series 5b, 394. Well centered on thick flan with scattered deposits of horn silver.
