Transvaal. Republic bronze Pattern Burgers Pond 1874 AU55 Brown NGC, Heaton mint, KMX-Pn8, Hern-B3. Fine beard, small date. A wonderfully subdued mahogany-toned pattern of this extremely popular and iconic gold issue, a bit of unevenness in the president's hair and a light smattering of contact marks, both otherwise wholly engaging, incredibly scarce, and perfectly covetable. Presently the only example of this variety in the NGC census.
