Spanish Colony. Alfonso XII brass Specimen Pattern 50 Centimos 1880 SP64 PCGS, KM-Pn17 (incorrectly listed as bronze). The only certified specimen of this very rare pattern, and considerably nicer than the other examples we have been able to locate, the surfaces fully brassy yellow with mottled darkened patina. We offered this same piece in our 2016 New York Auction #3044 (lot 30540) where it brought $1645.
