Ottoman Empire. Abdul Mejid 5 Piastres AH 1264 (1847/8) MS63 NGC, Tunus mint (in Tunisia), KM107. Absolutely exceptional condition, the piece clearly tone from long periods in a coin cabinet, with strong evidence of the engraver's guides and some recutting of the date present.
