Ferdinand VII 8 Reales 1825 PTS-JL MS62 NGC, Potosi mint, KM84. An absolute wonder of a piece, simply never encountered so nice and practically choice, the few minor wisps of handling that likely influenced the assigned grade rapidly overshadowed by sublime flashy surfaces prominently arrayed with die polish lines. With an incredible stippling to the king's bust which comes as a stark contrast to the usual weakness, as well as a distinguished pedigree, it would be of little surprise to see it overtake the last auctioned example in this grade, sold by Schulman in their May 2016 Auction #350 (Lot 214) for $500. Ex. R.L. Lissner Collection (CNG/St. James's August 2014, Lot 1160)
