João V gold 4000 Reis 1749-(L) MS62 NGC, Lisbon mint, KM164, LMB-0292. A very scarce type struck at the Lisbon mint for the Maranhao State. The example exhibits glistening satiny fields with few signs of handling and some very light adjustment marks on both sides. Selections from the Paulistana Collection
