Description

Philip IV Cob 8 Reales 1652 PE-PH AU Details (Saltwater Damage) NGC, Potosi mint, KM21, S-P37, CT-434. 25.63gm. A rather engaging specimen of a type not normally encountered this attractive, with a gratifying crispness throughout, with all three dates clear and sharp, and the central motifs expressed with an impressive pronunciation. The remnant glow of a lustrous sheen and the noted saltwater damage indicate that this was undoubtedly a treasure salvage, and most desirable thus.
