Description

Leopold I 2 Taler ND (c. 1670) MS65 NGC, Hall mint, KM1119.1, Dav-3247. With an exceptional appeal that is likely unrivaled for the type, this pristine double-taler exhibits a wonderful silver patina interspersed with golden hues. The devices are struck to a mesmerizing degree of detail and glimmer alluringly upon rotation, all while revealing not a single significant imperfection. At a gem level of certification, without a doubt among the very finest of the type extant. We note that the circa date of 1670 appears to be a more accurate attribution than what is noted on the insert. Housed in an NGC oversized holder.
