Macedonian Kingdom. Alexander III 'the Great'. Silver Drachm (4.28 g), 336-323 BC. Sardis, ca. 324/3 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Reverse: AΛEΞANΔP[OY], Zeus seated left, holding eagle and scepter; in left field, monogram; below throne, rose (?). Price 2553; ADM I series IX. A brilliant example. Fully lustrous. Mint State.
