Baktrian Kingdom. Euthydemos II. Silver Tetradrachm (16.94 g), ca. 185-180 BC. Diademed and draped bust of Euthydemos II right. Reverse: BAΣIΛEΩΣ E[Y-ΘYΔHMOY], youthful Herakles standing facing, wreathed with ivy, holding club and ivy wreath; in lower left field, monogram. Bopearachchi 1D; SNG ANS 217-8. Areas of porosity caused by 'horn silver' (silver sulphate deposits), otherwise. Sharpness of Very Fine and Rare. Estimate Value $300 - 400
