Rare contemporary forgery of 50 Rubli 1919, series A, P. 6(f), ex A. Rucins collection. Russians were printing big quantities of 50 and 500 Rubles forgeries, Prominent collector A. Rucins conducted a study on Russian forgeries. He identified points to distinguish genuine notes from Russian forgeries. Rucins reports, that the serial numbers of Russian forgeries begin with: 001, 004, 010, 011, 018, 019, 029 and 252. He concluded, that approx. 30.000 russian forgeries were put in circulation. This example shows the points for forgery identification by attached red arrows on the note. The note is used with several folds and creases, 2 pinholes, no tears, strong paper, condition: VF.
