Roman antefix with the head of Medusa
1st century BC – 1st century AD; alt. cm 12,5; A section of an antefix decorated in relief with the head of Medusa. Distinguished by her round face, lips parted in the typical smile, eyes elongated sideways and with incised irises; her hair is arranged in waves on the top of her head and in small tresses at the side of her face.
Traces of polychromy.
