Obv. Helmeted head of bearded Mars left; behind, oak-spray.
Rev. Horse’s head right on base inscribed ROMANO; behind, corn ear.
Sydenham 1; Crawford 13/1; HN Italy 266.
Nicely toned and very fine.
The first silver coin of the Romans.
