A magnificent lion.
Amyntas was involved in the Roman civil wars following Caesar’s death, and ended up king of Galatia and a client of Mark Antony. However his various schemes came back to haunt him: the widow of an assassinated prince killed him in an ambush. After his death, Galatia became a Roman province.
